Our February client of the month, Jose,  is a 28 year old native of the Central Valley.   He’s a barber by trade and his pride and joy is his beautiful daughter.  With his hard work and dedication to training he has lost 35 lbs in the last 3 months.

 

  1. How long have you been with TFF?

“Off and on for 4 years”.

  1. Where were you training prior to training with TFF and what made you try us?       

“InShape, I heard about Austen and his training and gave it a try”.

  1. What are your short-term and long-term goal?

“Short-term is to see my abs and long term is to be physically and mentally in shape”.

  1. What have you learned at TFF that has helped to get where you are physically?

“I have learned proper form and consistency.  Also, to push myself past mental and physical limitations that I thought I could not do in the past”.

  1. What do you like best about training at TFF?

“Everyone here is family, the friendships that grow and how we push and motivate each other.  Age is just a number here”.

Austen’s February Recipe

Ground Turkey Chili Verde

  • 2 LB GROUND TURKEY BREAST (99% LEAN)
  • 1 CAN 28OZ. LAS PALMAS GREEN CHILE ENCHILADA SAUCE
  • NON STICK SPRAY
  • SALT & PEPPER
  • 1 WHITE ONION

SPRAY THE NON STICK SPRAY INTO A LARGE NON STICK SKILLET OR SAUCE PAN. ADD 2 LBS GROUND TURKEY. PAN FRY UNTIL GROUND TURKEY IS COMPLETELY OFF WHITE AND THERE IS NO PINK. BREAK MEAT DOWN TO A “GROUND BEEF TACO” TEXTURE. ADD DICED WHITE ONION, SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE, AND CHILE VERDE SAUCE. SIMMER ON MEDIUM LOW HEAT COVERED INITIALLY, THEN UNCOVERED. START TO FINISH RECEIPE TAKES 30 MINUTES. SERVE OVER WHITE RICE OR ANY OTHER HEALTHY STARCH, POLENTA OR POTATO WOULD BE GOOD CHOICES. DIVIDE INTO MEAL SIZES TO FIT YOUR DIET PLAN, 2 LBS OF 99% LEAN GROUND TURKEY BREAST YIELDS 200g OF NEARLY FATLESS PROTEIN WITH VERY LITTLE CARBS IN THE SAUCE. ENJOY!
