Fit Factory Physique Athlete - Cristian Heredia

Shem Swerkes's picture

First time competitor Cristian got a true taste of what happens when you follow your coaches program and your coach is Austen DiPirro. He came into the 2012 Governors Cup not only as lean as he has ever been in his life, but leaner than just about everyone else in that show.

I've watched Arnold transform his physique making great strides and a night and day difference in less than a year. Here is what we talked about after the Governors Cup.

Kim has been involved in the contest prep of other athletes for years now. She was there every step of the way when her husband Austen DiPirro got me ready for my first show. We get a chance to gain a unique perspective from a veteran trainer as a first time competitor.

Personal Trainer in Modesto California- I can recall when I began to really get serious about training. My neighbor gave me a weight set and some Muscle & Fitness magazines and I read up and started training like a mad man. I was in the 8th grade.

Carbohydrates - Yes or No?

Shem Swerkes's picture

"Carbohydrates have probably gotten the worst reputation of the macronutrients due to the ketogenic dieting rave. Ketogenic dieting refers to reducing carbohydrate intake to practically nothing, while simultaneously raising fat and protein intake. With little glucose for the brain to utilize for energy, the body will begin producing ketones." - DR. Layne Norton

Shorter Warm Ups= Better Peak Performance

While so many athletes and bodybuilders alike continue to hit the gym and pummel a single body part for hours, set after set... at The Fit Factory we continue to make the case for high intensity training. Our results speak for themselves. We have a number of bodybuilders, figure, fitness, and now physique competitors on the program and shelves filled with trophies.

The best kept secrets are those you never tell. I love that line from the Joker in the Dark Knight where he says something like 'If you are good at something, you never do it for free.' However, when it comes to training there is really no rock left unturned. All the secrets are out.

Shem Swerkes's picture

It's exciting to think of how it wasn't too long ago that we were making the push to break 300 likes for our The Fit Factory Facebook page. It is exciting, because it didn't take long to break past the 300 mark and now at over 330 the new goal is to pass 500! I want to see 500 plus The Fit Factory fans on our Facebook page. This is something that I know we can do.

The New Year And The Gyms Will Be Packed!

Shem Swerkes's picture

Now that the New Year is here I hear everyone talking about getting in shape. Some are looking for total transformations, hence the Bodybuilding.com transformation challenge, and others maybe just want to make some healthier choices. Why is fitness of some sorts at the top of most everyones list of New Years resolutions? One reason is that most fail to reach those goals the previous year...
